The standard size for Berber Point 920 broadloom is 4.2 meters, with tile variants measuring 50x50 cm. For unique design needs, the carpet is also available in 25x100 cm planks and 100x100 cm tiles, as well as in unique shapes such as Chevron left & right, Hexagon, and Right-angle Triangle. Given the customization possibilities, minimum production quantities apply. Berber Point 920 offers a choice between ResinBac and NexBac backing. The carpet boasts a total thickness of approximately 7mm on ResinBac and 7.5mm on NexBac, with a total mass of around 1317g/m² on ResinBac and 3877g/m² on NexBac. The carpet is rated for fire resistance, achieving a fire index of 2 (SANS 10177-4) on ResinBac and 3 (SANS 10177-4) on NexBac. Moreover, it is extremely colorfast, scoring a 7 (ISO 105-B02) for light and 4-5 (ISO 105-X12 and ISO 105-E01) for rubbing (both wet and dry) and water fastness respectively. In terms of static control, Berber Point 920 manages an impressive electrostatic propensity of less than 2 kV (DIN 66095 Part 4), ensuring static-free comfort. The carpet has also passed VOC testing, indicating its compliance with indoor air quality standards. Furthermore, when backed with ResinBac, it provides 21 dB of impact sound insulation (EN ISO 10140), enhancing the acoustic comfort of any commercial space. For installation, Belgotex recommends the Herringbone pattern for 25x100 cm planks, Tessellated pattern for 100x100 cm tiles, and specific fitting instructions for the custom shapes.
