Key Specifications: The Terrain collection is classified for Heavy Commercial use (SANS 10361 / 33 EN 1307) and features Pattern Colour Placement Heavy Commercial SDN Tufted Loop Pile Bitumen Tile - SCP. Crafted from Stainproof SDX (Solution Dyed Nylon), the tiles have a pile height of approximately 3mm and a total thickness of around 6mm. They weigh approximately 3897g/m² and are available in a standard size of 25cm x 100cm, with a machine gauge of 1/10" and 50 stitches per 10cm. Some colors utilize recycled content in the pile yarn, and the backing can be NexBac Eco/EcoBac on request. Quality Indicators: Fire Index ratings are 2 (SANS 10177-IV), Bfl-s1 (EN 30501), and Class 1 (ASTM E648-08). The Colour Fastness to Light is 7 (ISO 105-B02), to Wet Rubbing is 4-5 (ISO 105-X12), to Dry Rubbing is 4-5 (ISO 105-X12), and to Water is 4-5 (ISO 105-E01). The Electrostatic Propensity is less than 2.0kV (En 1307) with Permanent Static Control. Sound Absorption is at aw 0.15, and the tiles have passed VOC tests. Colour Palette: The Terrain Collection offers an extensive range of colors inspired by natural elements: Alluvium, Earthen, Plateau, Terraform, Alpine, Grassland, Ridge, Topsoil, Aquifer, Heath, Savannah, Canyon, Hillside, Sediment, Contour, Hydrology, Striation, Dolomite, Peak, and Tectonic. Bill of Quantities: Belgotex's Terrain collection includes 25cm x 100cm NexBac tiles made from Stainproof SDX and Stainproof Eco SDX Blend (Solution Dyed Nylon). The tiles must be installed according to the SANS 10186 fitting code of practice and can be arranged in brick, ashlar, random ashlar, or herringbone patterns. To prolong the lifespan of these tiles, Belgotex recommends using carpet protector mats where castor wheels are in use.
